Silicone is a tough and durable material, over time it will breakdown losing its ability to repel liquids and becomes a haven for bacteria and mould. It's essential in wet areas that the silicone bead keeps a water tight seal to prevent water penetration.
when this happens we can remove the old silicone, clean the surrounding areas and apply a new seal making your stone installation look and function like new again! This also applies to any tiled area such as baths, shower trays and sink units.
We also undertake new-builds that need mastic application throughout the project.

If you already have a stone installation but you are planning to extend or change the design we can do this without removing the whole work surface.
We can re-cut, polish, add curves, drill new tap holes, adjust hob cut-outs and extend existing installations.

When you have stone products installed the masons will have treated the stone with at least two coats of chemical based sealer which creates a barrier that resists bacteria and staining. Over time, especially with use this sealer breaks down and stains appear and bacteria can build up. This can be rectified with a two step process, firstly the old sealer needs to be removed with a specialist stripping product and then two to three new coats of sealer re-applied.
Limescale build up is another issue, it's not advisable to use limescale remover as this damages marble and limestone. A physical process will remove scale build up without causing damage to the surface.

Fear not we have the ability to repair most situations, using specialist materials and knowledge an invisible repair can be obtained.

Probably the most important part of a new stone project is in the templating process, as an error made at this point means the installation can have serious problems!
Experienced in physical templates either in timber or plastic sheet format.
This also allows you to see what the shape your new stone tops will look like, alterations or design change at this point is made easy, our vast experience in this field can guide you through any worries you may have with design and functionality.
